Buff Orpington pullet or cockerel?

Pretty sure this one of our buff Orpington chicks (called “Nugget”) is a cockerel...

the rest of our buff orpingtons look more like this...less obvious comb/wattles and less pronounced tail feathers. Does this look like a pullet?

It could possible be a cockerel...though it is still early to tell. Can you check the saddle feathers (on the sides and back of the chicken right behind the wings and before the tail)? Longer pointer ones indicate that it's a cockerel. Also if s/he is rougher with the other chickens or picks on them, that's a way to know. Buff orpingtons have a reputation for being at the bottom of the pecking order, so if they are picking on the others that's a sign. I hope you find out soon! Good luck 😉
