I'm still trying to figure this one out for sure. I'm pretty sure this (what I thought was a pullet) is 20+ weeks. I got this one and a smaller BO on 7/16 and I'm almost positive he told me it was around 14 weeks then. This one and the other one looked just alike until a couple weeks ago. So idk if I have a rooster or a pullet about to lay. That tail doesn't look like a pullet to me, but it seems like it should have more of a comb by now for a rooster.

I hope ya'll are right! It was like she/he went from looking like a pullet to a rooster overnight. I took this pic on August 5th and there was barely any comb/wattles.

So you'll have to wait and see to be positive, but the combs of pullets get redder and grow quickly right before they begin to lay.

Yeah that's what I've been hoping is happening. Although I haven't seen my Rooster try to mount her.
