buff orpington rooster and black australorp hen

Thank you for the information I have australorps at point of lay and a gentleman is giving me a buff orpington rooster I know they are both orpingtons was just curious how the pullets would lay and how they would color out

Australorps are not Orpingtons. They do have Orpingtons in their distant past, but a few other breeds were used to create them, as well. Modern day Australorps are a separate breed. They are not just black Orpingtons.

I agree with the above.
I'm guessing that it would be like other crossbreeds. The offspring would outlay either parent breeds.
While this is true with sex links, it's not true in the case of Orpingtons X Australorps. I've crossed the two breeds before and while the offspring have sometimes outlayed my Orpington hens, they've never outlaid my Australorp hens.

how do they color out will they be black with some lighter gold markings or gold with a little black in them just curious
