Buff Orpington Rooster? Please Help!!

Looks like a pullet to me. My BO started laying right around 20 weeks but for the longest time I thought she might be a he because her comb started looking redder than all the others at a fairly early age.

thanks! everyone had told us boy, then now everyone is saying girl...confusing!

alright, so we think this one tried to mount on one of our hens, so now we are asking again-15 weeks tomorrow

I am pretty sure that is a pullet...at 15 weeks I think the comb and wattles would be bigger if it was a roo.

I'm thinking you have a nice little hen there. Comb would be standing more proud by now, I would say. Although her comb is redder in some pictures than others...I've seen the peach color on some of your photos. My BO is high on the pecking order and this may be a reason for some of her jumping on others behavior. My buff orpington has a larger comb than my other girls. How do the size of her legs and feet compare to other girls in the flock? My roos had definitely larger legs/ feet than the pullets early on as they developed. I'm a newbie to chickens this year but that's just what I've seen in my flock.

i don't like that 2 toned coloring on the wings makes me think cockerel

this is a cockerel that is about 4-5 months old note it has very small comb and wattles as well (and he is a bit dirty)

heres one of his brothers same age

the pullet that we have doesn't even have any color in her comb yet and shes the same age as these boys

legs are a bit bigger than my other girls that are 17 weeks old.

You guys are making me second guess whether my pullets are actually roos!!! I have a couple that are redder, but I thought that was due to them getting ready to lay, not because they might be a roo!! (I would absolutely LOVE to have a roo among my girls, but that's beside the point, lol)

Reviewed the pics again. Pullet. Pullet. I'm sticking with Pullet...She's got a few attributes that make her stand out among her peers...but she's a she. She's just got that girlie face. That's my two cents! Let me know when the first egg comes...LOL>
