Mamidei - 5 months later, care to share the result? I've been studying as much as I can - my guess was hen.

You know, I ended up giving this bird away. It was hard to tell with the light coloring. I believed I started seeing saddle feathers and at that point I started looking for a new home.
I've had the worst luck with orpingtons! I have a chick right now that is 12 weeks old and not fully feathered yet. So confusing! I'm not even trying to guess its sex yet!
