I would say its a boy!
Hey, can you help me determine if this is a hen or rooster? Its comb is so much larger than the other girls, but not nearly as red as the pics I've seen here of BO roosters. They are still young, only about 3 months old, so I'm having hard time. I don't see any pointy saddle feathers, and her tails not any longer than the others..
What do you guys think?

Here's a pic of when she was 6 weeks old. I had another who's comb at that age what bright red, but he got out of the run somehow. I was sure he was a Roo, so I was convinced the others were hens. =/

Now that I see the youger picture thats the feather patern my roos had. the feathers are darker than the lighter buff the hens tend to be. Theres like a ridge line going down his back with more prominent feathers, the pullets seems to get their feathers in more evenly. Its noty a full proof system- I will know when mine are much older if I nailed it 100%.

My hens do have flaps like that though. I really think orps can be more dificult to tell then some other breeds. I've never had suck difficulty telling with the others I've had in the past.

Sure looks like a young cockerel to me! That's just my opinion.
