Hello Buff Oprington fans!

I was at Tractor Supply this morning talking to the cashier about chicks, we got on the subject of Buff Orpingtons and she stated that it would be difficult to get any Buff Opringtons from any breeder this year since breeders are having problems with low hatch rates. Has anyone else heard of this?

~ Owner of 6 BOs, 3 EEs, 6 Black Stars, 1 BCM roo & 12 pretty-much-non-laying hens that live in our retirement coop - should cull them but that just seems mean to me.

No problem here in getting buffs. All 5 feed stores in our quad-city area are carrying loads of BO's. I just bought 6 more last Thursday and they are getting more in. No shortage here.
