Nothing to see here.... move along...
This made me crack up because one of our little girls gave me this same look this morning. I am anxiously awaiting her first egg. All the signs are there; bright red comb and wattle, squatting, egg song and this morning she followed me back into the coop as I was cleaning and made herself at home in a nesting box. Being the doting chicken momma that I am, I kept hanging around and finally she shot me "the look", growled and turned her back to me. Needless to say I took the hint! LOL! Still no egg though.....maybe tomorrow??
