They can do some goofy things for sure.
I have a Barred Rock right now with tapes toes

I saw this happen, she was stepping up onto the boardwalk I have in front of the coop and she bumped one of her toes backwards on the edge of the board. I think it's just pulled/sprained it but it was just hanging a bit limp and I could see she was hurting. This was right before roosting, so I let her sleep she roosted all night fine. Checked in the morning, she still limping the foot not swollen though, so I taped her up. She is out there digging around. I may need to cage her, but she is top girl and stubborn, so she will most likely
pitch a fit. I'll give her a few days and see what happens.
