I'm reaaaaly leaning towards BO. You'd be surprised how snow white WLs are, even crossed to a black chicken.

She grew feathers overnight! They are in her upper wings and they are golden brown.

We have our Buff!

A quick hello from the girls and their new friends whom joined last week.

@CuzChickens, we definitely do NOT have a Buff Orpington. When her other feathers grew in they were darker - more red/brown. Here she is 5 days ago, and there is even more brown on her now...

I went back in my memory, and as far as I can remember, the only other yellow chicks at the feed store (besides White Leghorns, which she obviously is not) were Cinnamon Queens and New Hampshire Reds. Oh well... next time...

She is adorable for sure Nope, not a BO, could be a Cinnamon Queen or NHR - the two NHR I have did have the darker feathers at the wings like yours but their fluff was much redder. Will be interesting to see what she turns out to be, hopefully in a couple of more weeks we can tell.
