*Buff Orpington Thread!*

We purchased 12 buff orpingtons a few days ago! It's amazing how much they've grown in just a few days. They're growing quicker than our Silver laced Wyandottes!

I don't know about calm....These guys are wired! LOL They're busy lil things. (The SLWs are calm in comparison!)
2 of them (the buffs) are so very sweet though. One in particular will run to my hand and curl up to preen or fall asleep

Don't worry, I couldn't do it even if I wanted to!

I think he should re-home the ex bats and he wouldn't have to worry about it.

As soon as my pure breeds all die off I will be going back to mainly ex batts with one or two pure breeds which will probably be BO's.

Yes, but compared to the EEs I have, they are calm!! Funnily enough, I had a RIR in with my chicks last year (by mistake) and she was the sweetest, friendliest little thing. Temperament almost like the BO and now they all get along very well together.
