Eggness has a new love :) (she's inside this winter because she decided that at 19 weeks she still doesn't want to grow)

Pancake my house chicken was like that a very slow grower. She is just now about 6 pounds at 30 weeks, I think our strange weather in California threw her bio clock off she still hasn't started to lay because she is in a what I am calling a funny molt. I might not get eggs until next year, though if she chooses to never lay that is fine, I love her company.

Careful Eggness might become top dog in a few months time. Pancake bosses our dogs around and they listen, my mom calls her Ninja chicken.

She's a lover of all things warm. She's been trying to find a good place to cuddle with the dogs but usually settles for a blanket next to them :)

Hall Family Farm (user by the same name) sells hatching eggs that come from SOP stock. A bird being SOP cannot be determined until it is mature (or much older than a -21 day old egg in any case).

Also, HIIII! I kinda just spent the last three days or so reading this entire thread... ^^;; DragonLady is so freaking beautiful.
