Oh, how cute! Buff roping tons are the sweetest chickens:) I'm looking forward to watching peep grow up. You should post some pics of your girls!
 
No, eating is def not the second purpose! The second purpose is being a dog . I could never kill a bird as sweet as orpingtons. No matter how old.

They call them duel purpose birds, but eating can not possibly be one of those purposes, can it?

Here is a group pic I took a few weeks ago. From left to right: Peanut, Daisy and Penny



The girls and their cats, Roux and Mac.



I was bringing something inside the other day and left the back door open by accident and Peanut and Daisy decided to mosey on in.



Peanut and Daisy laying on one of the cat beds (well, Peanut is laying on the cat bed) in front of the heater. Daisy always has a dirty face. She is our little "pigpen"!
