I myself would get her 1-2 more brood mates. But when I get chicks I never just get 2-3 the second I see those babies I get more

I don't think my coop could fit 5 chickens though. Maybe I can find someone local who just wants one pullet in a few weeks?

That would work or you could get a bird for butcher like a CornishX.

You might try putting a little mirror in with her. Mine loved looking at themselves. Also if you do get another pullet I don't think you'll have trouble getting rid of her. Everyone wants pullets.

I just got my girls yesterday (11 Buffs and 10 Americana's) and they are happily chirping away! They were set to come 2 weeks ago thursday, but got bumped to last thursday. I went to get them, only to find out that they weren't ready yet again! They were finally ready yesterday, so I picked them up. I was set to get 3 Americana's and 7 Buffs, but they said that because of the mix up, they threw in extras and they were all free, including the 100 Broilers that I get to eat each summer! Good thing I have a big enough brooder! I am excited for summer, when I can introduce them to my big birds, and I can have a big flock.
