I am so excited! Can you tell? Buffy was teaching her chicks how to get to the roost! I wish that I had the camera aimed to show that - they did not all make it, and she came down to settle them into a nest box!

They are only 23 days old! My chickens are clearly geniuses! Chicken Mensa here we come.

For me too early to tell! I would just put him/her in the TOO CUTE category for now!

Is this rooster damage? And her back is a little bald too. One other one has the same on her wings and back, but not as bad

Looks like it could be. Check to make sure there are no mites/lice, but rooster "treading" can cause the feathers to look like that, especially if they are his favorite girls.

No problem! My Buff Girls are a favorite, but since the weather is warm, I think ALL the girls are starting to be favorites
