Pics
The first image is of Rodney and then second is of him and his buddy Pot Pie. They are both going on four months of age. I have three BO cockerels and I only need to keep one. I'll need to find these two boys a new home soon. Pot Pie is so much larger and the biggest of the three. I've not included an image of 'Sunshine' yet. He's the one I'll be keeping. They all three are very gentle but these two just seem more skiddish around people. I don't understand why, they all three have been treated the same and held and played with since they were mere tots. Sunshine loves being held and having his back rubbed.

Editing to add image of 'Sunshine'.

Oh yes! she pecks me! I wamted to check for lice etc on her and people said it would be best to do it when shes on her nest so i did and she went mental at me trying to attack me!
lol If it were mine I'd say "we're having chicken sausage once she done."

Hey, can you help me determine if this is a hen or rooster? Its comb is so much larger than the other girls, but not nearly as red as the pics I've seen here of BO roosters. They are still young, only about 3 months old, so I'm having hard time. I don't see any pointy saddle feathers, and her tails not any longer than the others..
What do you guys think?

Hen. I had 14 chicks and they were all hens. Once you have a roo it easy to tell the difference. All my hens combs turned red this summer- must be sunburn. I could tell between 4-6 weeks old when they were roos. There are a few exeptions but so far I've nailed it. I also noticed that the roosters feathers come in differently then the hens.
