I had chickens, ducks and geese in the past. I currently have 13 Buff Orpington that are 5 weeks old and 16 French Guinea Keets that are 4 weeks old. They are currently in our basement, before they can be transferred to the coop which is under construction. We live in a small hobby farm In NJ with 2 horses, 4 barn cats and one house cat. We are hoping to have good egg production and to be able to free range the guineas during the day for tick control. So far the Orpington are very docile and affectionate and the Guineas are being quite tame too, being with the chickens. Hope they continue this way so they will come back to roost inside the coop when called.
