agreed! and with the added benefit of being sweet as can be!! I love my BO girls, always the first to jump in my lap for a snuggle, Penny likes to stretch out and lift her wing for me to scratch underneath.

she will only come to me for food, he sisters are alright though. None of them like to snuggle unless there is treats involved. If it weren't for her fluffy butt and metallic gold feathers I don't know what I'd do

Brand new 'owner' of chickens here, and one of them is a Buff Orpington. She's the most developed of our three so far, and I have to agree with the OP'er on the soft, the fluffy, and the love.

Thank you. I was the first thing she decided to land on when she took wing....and someone suggested in another thread that I make it my avatar.

I have heard a lot of folk have had this happen...with a variety of objects in their hands!
