Buff Orpington's?

Yes
Yes, for sure not Ameraucana's. They look nothing like the rest. They are much lighter than my RI Reds so I was hoping for Buff Orpington's since they also had them at feed store...wishful thinking I guess.

At least you have the option to just walk in and buy chicks...lol...here there is a very limited list on what you can get and it's all production/meat ,this year the list was Plymouth Barred Rock, Rhode Island Reds, Columbian Rock, White Leghorn, Isa Brown, Black Harco, and also 20 week old ready to lay pullets. They also had turkeys, (White and Bronze Orlopps), 2 breed of ducks and ring neck pheasants, which are naturally wild here anyway. You have to order a few MONTHS in advance or no birdies for you....if you want anything like bantam breeds or any other breed then you have to search high and low for someone who breeds them.....it really sucks...lol

They actually have a pretty good variety around here & if you order you can get about anything. However, even with a special order you can end up with other kinds. I had considered ordering from Murray McMurray Hatechery online. They have great reviews.

Oh you're fine! Hey, the more the merrier. This is a learning process. I've never been on one these groups before...I'm sure I drive people crazy but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. Don't worry about deleting from this thread. It's all good! ;)
