Buff Orps and Barred Rock, gender help

I'd say all the buffs are roos. I have four hens at home all of them 10 weeks old, and none of them have combs that pronounced. Especially the one that has it big enough to lay to the side.

As far as the barred rock, it's either an older girl, or a younger male. Our barred rock roos started getting combs and waddles like that earlier on, but the ear lobes are what make it look more manly to me.

It seems like I'm wrong, Deb. Sorry but I'm still not that experienced in BO's yet.

Yep, I will keep a close eye on them during the week and see if I can make any definite decisions on their gender.

I will still be at the sale next week, with or without the buffs. I have some bantams and a unsociables to find new homes for.

These 'guys' don't look nearly as fluffy and filled out as I think they should. They have been eating almost nonstop since they got here, more than a typical chicken.
