Buff Orps not laying

All of mine started between 19 and 25 wks. My Giant Jerseys are just starting to lay at 30 wks

My BO's started laying at about 20 weeks but they are nearly 23 weeks and all of mine have not started yet. I have about 9 out of 14 laying atm.

Trust me you won't have to wait till spring

My Buff is 24 weeks old and she started last week, she just about drove me crazy in the mean time. I guess they're late bloomers.

In my first flock, we had 2 BO's... they didnt lay until they were about 6-7 months old. Hopefully the new BO's we have wont be as lzay as those two girls were lol

I have 4 BOs and all of them started laying at 26-27 weeks. I thought I was going to DIE waiting. They started in the depths of November and laid all through the nasty nasty MN winter without supplemental light and never missed a beat. If only they laid that well n.o.w..... brats.
