Somebody gave me these chicks at a day old on 6/25, so they are about 6 weeks. Any thoughts on sex? I have my thoughts, but wanted to hear from others.

These are my first buffs. I've gotten pretty good at visually sexing chicks early on, but these kids have me stumped. She told me they were supposed to be all roos, but I think they were actually straight run. And we have one more that is DEFINITELY a roo.

My vote remains, the majority of some buff Orp roos are late bloomers.

Two cockerels. 1 and 4.
2 is causing some confusion due to the comb size, but that is a BO pullet face.

It's funny because my 7 week old BO cockerel has a smaller comb than my BO pullet. She's about 5 days older, but he should have overtaken.
Buff Orps like to confuse us.
