okay, so I got three buff orps from a TSC branch ( hatched from meyer I believe). I was wondering what the chances are of them actually going broody when older?
&&& of course what are your experiances with them? pics?

I have one buff orp.

She's not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree. Every morning when I go out to the coop, she is still on the roost. If I don't shoo her down or set her down, I wonder if she'd still be there when I check on them at lunch.

She lays a large brown egg, but only about once or twice a week.

She actually likes to be held.

Here is a pic of her when she was about 16 weeks old. She laid her first egg at 19 weeks.

She hasn't shown any signs of broodiness to date, but she's won't be a year old till July.

I have 4 buff orp 1 year old, sweet and friendly bird, only one sitting on eggs 4 times in the past 3 months, but she's never finished her job, she quit after 2 weeks and move to other coop and sit again, she mean to other hens who wants to lay eggs where she sit, she scream at me every time I pick other eggs
I waste some eggs because of her behaviour
