Buff Polish - Hen or Rooster?

Sorry for the late reply, these chickens have consumed my life! Anyways, that is a beautiful little cockerel. The best roo's I have were "hens" to begin with, I would love to see more pictures of the little guy.

Also now that I have a female Polish I can totally tell the difference in the "hat". This is going to sound silly but I think of it as a "Crazy Guy Hair" vs "Styled Female Hair".... even though it's feathers and just grows that way. LOL

Wow! There is a noticeable difference between the two. Beautiful hen too.

I have 2 bearded buff polish. Both 4 months old. Spike is definately a rooster. Beatoven; tries to crow once in a while; but doesn't sound like a crow. No pink or red comb or wattles yet. They are really hard to tell even at 4 months!

BTW the wild hair thing is correct; that's why his name is Spike.
