I have a buff rock who is starting to look more and more like a rooster each day. Where I live i'm not allowed to have a rooster so can anyone tell me of its as hen or rooster

Yes i'm sure on the age. I checked date on my receipt when I got them. so could it be a hen?

That's a hen. I'm not sure it's a rock, that comb looks leghorn or other Mediterranean, maybe a buff Mincora? I can't see earlobes well, but she may well be a white egg layer.

General rule---floppy comb=hen. They'll get big and floppy like that in the above breeds, rooster's combs always stand up straight.
