Hello everyone!!!! I hatched out 6 chicks from buff silkie roo x porcelain d’uccle. They are 10 days old and getting unusual feather color. I am curious to know what they will look like. Has anyone else tried this cross?

The rooster isn't Buff, he's a leaky white.

The mix, based on the feathers on the chicks wings look like they're gonna be regular, if not a Buff Partridge that will be split for both Mottling, & Lavender. Both mottling, & lavender are recessive, so they won't show up in the first generation.
Silkie Plumage is also recessive.

Here's my White Silkie X Porcelain D'uccle. My whites(Some) are split for lavender.

Your chick should look similar in body type, but a different color.
