Buff/White Runners vs. Lavender Runners

I have Buff/White Runners and Lavender Runners and I notice that the Buff/White drakes are exponentially more dominant than the Lavender drake. Has anyone else noticed a personality difference between the different colors of Runners or do I just have some very snotty boys.....?

I have the white, pencil and fawn/white and the pencil runner are much more dominate. So much that I want to get rid of them.

How many Buff/ white drakes do you have? It could just be the numbers rather than the colours- I have drakes in 5 colours- and there really isnt any difference between them. Rather than colour- I would think it has a lot more to do with their breeding and how they were raised. Large or small groups- ratio of other ducklings they grew up with and that kind of thing.

I have 3 Buff/White drakes, one is a pencil and the other 2 were raised with a goose(that probably explains their strong personalities). I have one Lavender and he is a much quieter and mellower duck. He keeps his 4 hens far away from the other drakes and their hens but once a day the Buff/White boys go marauding and 'claim' some of his hens, then they run back to their own hens. Because the 2 flocks cannot be together without drakes fighting over hens, I am re-homing either one flock or the other. The pencil drake is much more dominant than the other 2 Buff/White boys. He's a real stinker.
