Bought two beautiful 4 month old BOs last night at the auction.
I bought these for two reasons:
1. Been wanting some Buffs. They are beautiful to me.
2. I know the seller. She only sells and never buys and her flock is clean. No one has ever had a complaint about her.
So, I brought them home and eased them into the roost area of the tractor.
This morning they all came down and established the pecking order in just about 30 minutes.
Jack Black ( the black rose comb bantam) still thinks he is the boss.
Ignasio ( bantam Araucana hen) is the boss.
The two buffs ( who are bigger than the banties) are next in line.
I love my buffs. I want more.
