Buffy chick has lost toes!

A sad mystery, this chick has lost toes, she was fine last week so it has happened in the last 4-5 days.
She is the only one of 7 that has a problem.
Have had no frost so not frostbite, we had downpour and temperature dipped last Saturday.
We’ve had rat bait taken but no sign of rats inside of run or coop. They don’t roam the garden yet.
Any ideas as she limps but is eating and drinking, she stands on one leg like a flamingo! Photo is best I can do, the shredded paper not quite obscures her lack of toes.

from what i see it is oki had a orpington rooster who had the same thing eventually all his toes fell of but he was not in pain at all they just cannot move around as easy. it often happens to heavier breeds (like the orpington) sometimes the other chicks will pick at the toes but i just put some no peck on them as long as there is no bleeding she should be fine

I would guess a rat has removed the toes, but a crush injury or stepping on the toes might cause them to fall off after a few weeks.
