Bug found inside a boiled egg!

Did you happen to take a picture? This may be lash material which means infection.

This is a photo of similar but much larger meat looking object from a few days ago. Here it looks to be tethered to the soft shell and it is much larger. Two different hen involved. I hope this will help others with odd things turning up in eggs.

This bird has something serious going on.

And she is a most loved house pet. She was lethargic that day but seem fine now. I've given her calcium citrate. Continuing t do so. The other egg was from the layer flock.

This looks like dried pus from an infection. If it hangs around the shell gland/uterus long enough it can indeed become encased in a shell.
