Hi all without thinking I sprayed cutters backyard bug killer near my chuckens to kill some spiders sny suggestions what I should do if anything ?

Greetings from Kansas and :welcome. Happy you joined us. I think if it was me I'd take the garden hose to the area really good and try to dilute whatever the spray was on and it might even rinse off any residue from the bugs that bit the dust. Unless it's on them or they eat a belly of of bugs that were killed I don't think there is much to worry about - particularly if you rinse down everything. Others may have a different opinion. Best of luck to you!

Hi and welcome to BYC. Personally, I'd do as Redsox suggests and fence off the area in question until you have had some serious rainfall - maybe even leave it until spring time before re-opening the area? Insecticides have a long half-life (take ages to break down into their constituent chemical bits) so it will be around for a while. Whether it is, or will remain at levels that potentially harmful to your flock is impossible to tell. I doubt this would be an option, but burning the area in question would at least cut out the possible ingestion of contaminated bugs and grass etc that your chickens may eat.

Good luck
CT
