Bug Picture - can they eat lots of these?

I have a ton of these in my open air compost pile. I found this photo on line identifying as black soldier fly larvae. So -- how many of these can my 6-8 week old chicks eat, if any?

Yep, black soldier fly larvae (maggots). Yes, great for chickens. Look for posts on Biopod here.
