bugs in feed

Hello, I just recently switched he'd my feed to grower feed because I have two young Marans. I've been storing my layer feed in a metal trash can outside. looked it over this morning and there are all these little red bugs crawling around in the feed. Looks like the same bugs I see on rotten citrus. Should I throw away the bag of feed?
