Bugs in the chicken feed

Moldy is bad. But as for bugs, isn't that just like baco-bits for chickens? I suppose the insect excrement might not be healthy.

Lord help any cricket that finds his way into our chickens run.

We tossed out some of their food after a rain storm that had wind blowing heavy rain onto their food. Every time we'd let them out to eat, I'd catch the buggers over there(A good 50ft away) eating that damned food. I'd chase them off scolding them every time. I finally realized that they were not touching the now moldy food at all, but all the worms and weevils now squirming around in it.

The bugs wouldn't bother me, chickens love em. That mold would. Glad they took the return.
