bugs on the neck of chickens

My chickens have an infestation of little flea looking bugs. They stick there and is very hard to remove them.
They also jump on people and go to the face by the ears. On the chickens they stick to the neck and head.I use flea drops
and spray, the one used for dogs. Seems like they are less but still are there. I'll appreciate any ideas.Thanks

Not familiar with with pests down there but could be fleas, lice, even mites. The jumping tells me these are fleas.Treat with flea powder.
On a side note, do your chickens have a good place to take dust/dirt baths?

Sounds as if they may be infested with 'stick tight' fleas - do a forum search. There are threads on their control.
