Build a coop in fall, it will be fun they said!!!

Well, fall starts on Sunday, Sept. 22, which is tomorrow.

And it has cooled off here in North Texas. It rained all day Friday, and today it is nice. The high temperature is supposed to be 81 degrees today.

Friday was the first day in months that I didn't need the air conditioner. But the forecast shows it will be 99 degrees next Friday. Welcome to fall in Texas.

AWESOME! Spent all Thurs working on it, then Thursday evening it poured and poured and we needed it so bad!!! I got the coop mostly done, still needs some mesh wiring installed, working on the run now and adding finishing touches to the coop tmrw. Thinking Im going to have to add to the coop and make it bigger, ya know how that chicken math works. It was 62' this morning!!!! It was so amazing! We have high 80's and low 90's the rest of the week

Thanks! Im working on it, I have started making time to sit with my flock at night, so far my SLW is for sure the sweetest chicken!!!
