Building 4 x 8 coop need help setting up the inside - Please send pics

Sorry to butt in but I'm currently building my coop and was wondering what the purpose of bumping the boxes out is? It seems that would make the boxes more susceptible to the cold.

I bumped my nest boxes out for two reasons. 1) Way more room inside the coop for the girls 2) I don't have to walk through the run or the coop and get poopy shoes to gather my eggs.

My nest boxes are insulated just like the walls and floor of my coop. I also added weatherstripping on the lift-up door.

My husband has no idea how much I have already spent on our coop! He does, however say that the chickens live in a nicer house than we do! lol It's not even completely finished and already I need an addition!
