I always want to have some chicken in my back garden. This year I went for it. I have start to build my first chicken coop with the left over broken computer desk and some other furniture in my home. Just finished my second coop from the recycle furniture and other material obtain free from many people (searching through website such as gumtree.com). Actually its only cost me little to build the whole chicken coop.

As I have experimenting and DIY many things, I always come to this forum; http://www.backyardchickens.com, where sometimes I am getting more knowledge and techniques about keeping chickens. Thanks a lot http://www.backyardchickens.com.

CHICKEN FEEDER - Cheaper with recycle things

I have made this feeder with plastic milk bottles and cardboard tube. whole items are available at my home and it took me only few hours to build it. Hope it would help you. Please make sure to comment and leave any suggestions as I am learning; we always do errors or mistakes, and we learn from it. And learning and having knowledge from others and others experiences always help to improve oneself and cycle of learning and teaching are limitless.

This project only costs ------------------------> Nothing for me as I had everything available at my home
(might cost for Cable ties, hooks, super glue and silver tape total about £3.00 or less)

cardboard tube could be replaced with PVC or plastic pipes.

you could use cardboard to cover the sides of the tube. I have used the milk bottle as I wanted to have the other part as funnel.

Thanks
