Building a Feeder and Waterer for Chicks

The hatch date may still be weeks away, but I’ve been busy building brooders for my 80+ eggs that just went into the bator. Now, my question - how could I cost effectively build/make a mostly waste free feeder and waterer for that many chicks and ducklings? They’ll be in separate brooders. Trying to keep things as cheap as possible and I’m willing to get creative.

I would just copy the design of the ones you can buy. Trough feeder with something running across the middle that’s unstable to keep them from pooping in it. Water bucket with nipples or similar for water
