Took down the standing dead tree today via tractor+chainsaw. Removed the rest of that tree and we're back on schedule.

Quick update : After much delay, I began laying the last course of block and solving a slight leveling issue where a corner was an inch low. Using shims to level and mortar to fill the gap, I've got just under half of the last course in place.

"Rustic" is an appropriate aesthetic for a chicken coop.
The bag i had was exposed to some water and the cement had cured in a few places so i was dealing with lumps the whole time. Hopefully the other two bags stayed dry and I wont deal with that again. Made it take longer and reduced my coverage area.

Finished surface bonding cement today. Didn't get full coverage on the inside in some places, but considering the original application of this product was providing waterproof, structural repairs to leaky mine shafts, I think I'm within the margin of error for the one sided application spots.
