Building a new coop

I need to build more coops to accommodate my growing flock.

I plan on starting a 6x8 coop made from rough lumber ( free ) to house 12 birds.

I'm not sure if I want a wood floor or bare earth.

I plan on this being a throwaway coop as I plan on building more.

My primary coop doesn't have a floor and it seems fine?

If it's going to be a throw-away coop, why not just use bare Earth? If you make it have a wood floor, you will have to purchase pine shavings.

I have shavings down but bare earth floor love it 17 square ft diameter they stay in to do dust baths in rain

My advice would be to just leave it bear dirt and not put pine shavings!
