Building a new coop

Hi I'm new to this stuff, please define the "poop board"
Bruce
The poop board goes under the roost, and catches all the poop, for easy daily cleaning. I use stall fresh on it to help with odor.
The picture doesn't show the stall fresh in it

The chicks turned 7 weeks old today, they have been going out of the safe zone alot more often now,
They go out in the hens side of the run and into the hens side of the coop more, they all know where the panic doors are. The hens really dont chase them to much.
My plans are to remove the fence between the two sides of the large run. But I will keep the door to the chicks enclosed run, small so the hens cant get in, and the chicks will still have a safe zone. I will leave the temp wall up inside the coop also. With the small door there to.

When do you think I should take down the temporary wall between the chicks and the hens in the coop?
I took down the fence with panic doors out in the run,
The chicks will be 8 weeks old this monday,
The chicks will go out in the run with the hens and scratch around, but as soon as one gets chased they all go back to their safe zone, they also have been going out to the hens side of the coop quite a bit.

Sure, go for it.
I usually remove the barrier I use at about 6-8 weeks.
They still need places to 'hide', or rather get away, tho.
