My roof metal came today,
Wrong color and no screws to match
If anyone says anything about the screw color not matching slap them with a rubber chicken! But I know what you mean about matching stuff and doing it right.

Yep, I’ve seen mine shimmy out that barely open door. Doing a forward limbo to be the first to the food...or the first away from the cockerel, one!Mine is 12" wide and 11" tall and I made it a bit short so a hen would not stand in the door a block it. The size really depends on what breed(s) you plan on having. Some of my hens will go through the door when it's only half way open in the morning, so they use 12" x 6" opening usually.

I plan on moving my old enclosed tun from my coop I'm using now, down to the new coop, it will be for the lil chicks to come out into, so the big hens cant get them, then I'm going to put the roof from the coop over the pop door so it keeps the weather out and shade for themThat is looking real good, you going to put a gutter on the run side of the roof?
