2. Can I have the pvc pipe in the run rather then the coop as it is small ? 4x4x6 (6 nesting boxes and 4 roost, 18 birds)

Wow, your coop is 4x4x6 and you have 18 chickens in there? WOW!!! Mine is 4x4x4 and I only have 5 (one is a bantam) and I think mine is "tight".

I've read here that 4 sq ft per chicken so for me 4x4= 16 and that means I should only have 4 chickens.

Do you really have 18 in your coop?

Thank you everyone !! Got my set up and used epoxy putty to stop the leak and so far cross fingers its working out great !!

It's All the nesting boxes are separate so it has 5 Post on it and they only sleep as the Run is 30ft by 8ft and we let them free range when were home We have a separate open coop like area for there food when it rains. Because they were raised as babies we have had no fighting either. They come right up to you no problems.
