I like this design, neat and compact. How is the upper deck set up to keep the animal's waste off of the lower rabbits?

Hey, I love this hutch. I have been looking at it for a while now and want to build one just like it. I was wondering if it has lasted? does it have any drawbacks you really do not like? and do you have more pictures of it? from the pictures it looks like 9 cages but you said 10 holes. were you referring to something else or is there a cage I can't see? thanks in advance for your answer.

This is one of my outdoor setups. It has 10 holes, cost about $250 to build, and is a meat rabbit factory.
