Neighbor is new with chickens. IMO, coop too small, not thinking about protection, or size of area for healthy chickens, don't want to overwhelm her or be negative. Would just like to direct her toward a good way.

I would start with something along the lines of "Getting started was a challenge for me, so if you ever need any feedback, I'm happy to offer some tips that I've learned over the years". This does 2 things:

1) says you also didn't start out knowing everything

2) you're OFFERING help....not PUSHING it

Most people respond well to that type of approach.

Just be straight. Tell I her you have been doing chickens for a long time, anf you think she needs a bit bigger coop and more protection. You might offer to help her with the renovations.
