Looking for suggestions on chickens that will do well together.

I have 1 polish and 2 silkie aging from 5-9 weeks. I am looking to get 2 layers but want to make sure they would get along with what I currently have.

Also thinking about going from dry feed to fermented feed. Looking for the pro's and con's. My research I have found say fermented feed is better for them.

Please let me know your thoughts.

I personally wouldn't mix anything with silkies and polish than more silkies and polish. Both attract pecking from other breeds.

I personally don't ferment, nor think it a good thing to do. You will get other opinions, but chickens in general eat dry seeds, grains and bugs when left to their own foraging. Moist feed can mold quickly, where dry feed can remain out and available and chickens will consume it as necessary.
