Day 1 - removed trees, leveled ground, staked corners

Day 2 - Started raining, so this was the stopping point for today.

Looks like you're going to document this well. When done, consider putting it together for an article in our Coop forum. Then, you can enter it in a Coop article contest. If this one's over before you're done, look for another as there's always one running.

We have had quite a bit of rain here. Forecast shows rain through next week.
We will continue with the coop build as weather permits.

Day 3 - really only got in about an hour or so of work.

Day - 4
Finally! A nice day to work outside
The guys started about 4PM and just wrapped it up.

They cannot put supports for the run door because the mountain (rock) is about 6 inches down.
The plan is to put supporting “roosts” on each side at both front corners.

I’ve been giving eggs to my son’s boss, who owns a contracting business, for a while now.
He tries to pay me for them, but I do not let him.

My son came home today with some odd size wood he had and all the metal we will need for the coop.
His boss said it was his contribution for the eggs.
What an awesome surprise!
