Building an incubator...what to use for heat?

use a blow dryer then... or get the heating element from a sportsman... it's like 20 bucks online... a cable with those ceramic thingies...

The Incukit is awesome!! Easy to install & works great...DH has one in his homemade coke cooler bator. It runs constantly hatching quail & we've never had a problem.

Forgot to add: there are 2 sizes of Incukit...we have the larger as coke bator is 4' tall & 2' deep.
