Building and working with Columbian Patterned Birds

I know it's a very old post, but I'd love to know how this is achieved.

Most Columbian are eb based silver and columbian.
Light sussex are wheaten with silver and columbian.
Either base can be used but when you use wheaten you don't get the black stripping in the saddle feathers. See pics below.
Since she's a huge light sussex fan and the light sussex are known to have a "cleaner" Columbian pattern I'm sure she was interested if anyone was working that look into other breeds.

Ah ok. So @The Moonshiner , how would you go about recreating the columbian Leghorn? Yes, I know that some already have them.

I myself would use Mille Fleur and Silvers.
Just lose the mottling from the MF to get buff Columbian and use the silver duckwing to change it from gold base to silver base.
I believe you can put Columbian on duckwing (don't quote me on it) so I could go wheaten or duckwing base.
I'm in no hurry to get Columbian or buff Columbian myself but I think I'll end up with some eventually as I work towards some other pattern projects.
I'm working a bit this year on black tailed buffs and white tailed buffs. Then white tailed mottled buffs.
Then plans for a couple other directions.
Anyways I know I was doing some figuring that showed buff Columbian showing up along the journey.
And at some point I want to switch MF to a silver version of MF so I'm sure I'd end up with Columbians in that project.
But hell that's just my mind racing through genetic ideas with my birds.
